Welcome to The Zazi Project. By accessing our website, registering for our programs, or attending our events, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

 

1. About The Zazi Project

 

The Zazi Project is a community-based initiative supporting African-Australian girls in Years 10–12 through mentorship, creative development, and confidence-building programs.
The Zazi Project is not a registered non-profit or charity at this time.

 

2. Eligibility

  • Participants must be in Years 9–12 or aged 14–17.

  • Parent or guardian consent is required for all minors.

  • Mentors must be 18+ and approved by The Zazi Project.

 

3. Program Registration & Fees

  • All mentorship program fees must be paid prior to the first session.

  • Event tickets must be purchased through the official booking link.

  • Fees are non-refundable unless the program is cancelled by The Zazi Project.

 

4. Cancellations & Refunds

  • If The Zazi Project cancels a session or event, participants will be notified and refunded where appropriate.

  • If a participant cannot attend a session, no refunds will be issued.

  • Mentors must give 48 hours notice if they cannot attend a scheduled session.

 

5. Mentor Commitments

By joining The Zazi Project as a mentor, you agree to:

  • Attend all six sessions with your assigned mentee.

  • Maintain professional communication with parents and guardians.

  • Participate in an onboarding call.

  • Report any concerns immediately to The Zazi Project leadership.

  • Never meet with a minor privately outside of approved settings.

Failure to follow these commitments may result in removal from the program.

 

6. Code of Conduct (All Participants)

We are committed to creating a safe and respectful space.
Bullying, harassment, discrimination, or harmful behaviour will not be tolerated.
Participants who violate this code may be removed from the program.

 

7. Privacy & Data Collection

  • We collect personal information such as names, emails, emergency contacts, and school year for program administration.

  • We do not sell or share personal data with third parties.

  • We may use photographs or videos taken at events for promotional purposes unless a guardian requests otherwise in writing.

 

 

8. Safety & Wellbeing

  • All mentors must adhere to child safety requirements.

  • The Zazi Project is not liable for injuries, accidents, or losses occurring at events or sessions.

  • Parents/guardians remain responsible for their child’s wellbeing before and after each session.

 

9. Website Use

By using our website, you agree not to:

  • Share false information

  • Attempt to hack, damage, or misuse the site

  • Copy any content without permission

The Zazi Project may update the website or suspend services at any time.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this site — including branding, images, text, worksheets, and program materials — is owned by The Zazi Project and may not be reproduced without permission

11. Changes to Terms & Conditions

The Zazi Project may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
